Date of Birth

David Adedeji Adeleke is a Nigerian -Musical Artist. He is professionally known as Davido, He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on the 21st of November 1992. Davido is a songwriter and a record Producer. His Nickname O.B.O stands for Omo Baba Olowo, which translates as Child of a Rich Man.

Family

His father’s name is Adedeji Adeleke, He is a well-known Businessman, and the President of Adeleke University. In addition, the CEO of Pacific Holdings Limited.

His Mother’s name is Late. Dr. Mrs Veronica Adeleke, who was a Babcock University Lecturer. However, she passed away in 2003 when Davido was just 11 years old.

Davido was brought up alongside three siblings namely Sharon Adeleke, Ashley Coco Adeleke, and Adewale Adeleke (half-brother). “Education was not my thing so after I left America to Nigeria it was something I just went back to do, in order to make Dad proud. Career

At the age of 17, Davido began pursuing his musical career. He formed a music group called KB International together with his Cousins. Adebayo Adeleke also known as B-Red a talented singer-songwriter. His music is usually a blend of African Traditional elements with Global Mainstream pop.

The 32-year-old celebrity’s career officially kicked off in 2011.  When he released one of his debut singles ‘Back when’. Since then, he has become a Global figure courtesy of his talent. Davido has collaborated with international artists like Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, and Akon.

Death of Ifeanyi (Davido’s son)

Ifeanyi Adeleke sadly passed away after his 3rd year birthday on November 1, 2022. He drowned in a swimming pool at his father’s residence in Lagos, Nigeria.

Actually, he was first noticed by the cleaning staff. A source from the Davido family says that the tot was in the water for a long time. finally, they pulled him and then rushed him to the hospital, but unfortunately, it was too late.

meanwhile, the Lagos State Police Command has revealed that the autopsy conducted on the corpse of Ifeanyi Adeleke revealed that he died as a result of drowning. Benjamin Hundeyin, the state Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the new development on Saturday 5th November 2023.
